Kelley Deal -- "Bags That Rock: Knitting on the Road"

27542022_2 In the past five years, a lot of lesbians have taken up knitting.  Well, maybe not all lesbians, but two of my ex's have, so I'm basing my statement on that un-scientific fact.

If you have a lesbian friend who's a knitter, a rocker and fan of the band the Breeders, I've got a gift tip that will kill all three of the above birds with one stone.

Breeders guitarist Kelley Deal has just published her first book, "Bags That Rock: Knitting on the Road," a how-to guide on knitting really cool rock 'n roll handbags.  I personally know nothing about knitting, so I'm not even going to begin to try to describe what Kelley Deal talks about in her book -- you'll have to take a look for yourself.

But bottom line is this:  You have to admit, the concept alone is unique, interesting and cool. It's also a slam-dunk perfect gift for music loving lesbians -- or straight women or men --  who are addicted to this...strange but fascinating hobby.
