Ritchie Rich: A gold digger, Guy is not
A British judge has issued Madonna and Guy Ritchie an official divorce decree. And to the surprise of many, Guy has reportedly declined to take any of Madonna's assets, worth about $450 million.
If this is the case, I'm glad to see the power couple exhibiting such professional behavior. Perhaps they knew what would be in store for them as we witnessed the expensive high-profile court battle between Paul McCartney and Heather Mills unfold.
British newspapers claim the couple had also reached an amicable spilt-custody deal regarding their two kids, Rocco and adopted son David Banda. The two boys would spend half their time between England and the U.S. -- and Lourdes will (of course) remain with Mama Madge.
It was a surreal moment back in early November as I sat in Dodgers Stadium waiting for the lights to go down at "Sticky & Sweet", when suddenly Lourdes, Rocco and about 10 bodyguards went rushing by to claim their seats. I couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for the kids as I reflected on painful childhood memories of my own parent's divorce.
In the long run, I'm sure the kids will be somewhat thankful for their parent's wisdom and insight to bypass an ugly court battle that could have lasted months on-end. Besides, they will have no problem making their own millions, should they choose to publish tell-all stories on what it was like to grow up in the shadow of such fortune and fame.

Guy is gonna be better off with a real woman not a shehe like Madanno. Guy is so dam delicious many availalbe London gals will be scooping him off to their bed rooms or to their nearest grocers freezers for ice cream and quick pick then a pock in the pie. Daddy!

Well good for him. But while Whoopie on the View calls him a "real man" for not taking her money I wonder if a woman would have responded in kind? Why shouldn't he have taken half her money? Straight men are still burdened with thinking they're the main breadwinners and cant take anything from a woman. It's one of the problems with being staight. So many double standards, both ways. I wonder the reaction if it was Madonna who was in a position to take his money?
