Big Gay Inauguration Parade
I guess we really are witnessing the dawn of a new era. The Washington Blade has reported that for the first time in American history, openly gay musicians and performers will be marching in Obama's inauguration parade.
According to the D.C. LGBT paper, the Inaugural Committee asked members of the Lesbian and Gay Band Association (LGBA) to march in the inaugural parade on January 20th. Bill Clinton had allowed gay groups to perform their music on the sidewalk during his inauguration, but not to march in the parade.
The 177-piece LGBA band will join groups from across the country as well as from the Armed Forces in the historic parade down Pennsylvania Avenue, which follows President-elect Barack Obama's swearing-in ceremony on the steps of the Capitol.
LGBA members said that an email they received mentioned that there were spots for musicians, flags, twirlers, honor guard and banner holders. Their official costume will be a silver baseball-style jacket and blue berets.
The Lesbian and Gay Band Association, founded in Chicago in 1982 by seven member bands, has grown to 34 member organizations in the United States, Canada and Australia.

Obama is a liar.
First he staffs his office with right wing, war mongering, corporate lobbyists.
Then he hires a right wing, gay basher for his inaugeral.
Barack Obama for chose evangelical pastor Rick Warren to deliver the invocation at the presidential inauguration next month.

I'm so glad there are many faggots attending Hussein Osama's inauguration. I mean, it's expensive to rent Rick Warren by the hours, you know. Having him thump his bible on the heads of one or two faggots isn't worth the money. I'm glad Hussein Osama will get his money worth!

I hope the people performing will give the LGBT community a great representation, by looking like the minority of the gay community normal people by dressing NORMAL.
I think if we showed the world that we all walk among them, as normal people, not drag queens they would is more will to accept us.

I see the bigots even come out on gay blogs. Our new President Obama is on the right track to make some positives changes in America. I look forward to experiencing this historic Inauguration.
