The E.N.D. is Near for The Black Eyed Peas
Finally! After a four-year break between studio albums, The Black Eyed Peas have announced "The E.N.D.", hitting stores and iTunes on June 9th. "Boom Boom Pow" will be the first single.
These past couple of years saw a hugely successful solo album for Fergie (The Dutchess) and a solo release from will.i.am (Songs About Girls), plus two world tours and a live performance DVD (Live From Sydney To Vegas).
Will’s involvement in the 2008 Presidential campaign of Barack Obama, whose song, “Yes We Can” was written by will.i.am, as well as the two post-election anthems, “It’s A New Day” and “America’s Song.”
“We wanted to make a record that would make people dance,” reveals will.i.am. In conjunction with the release of The E.N.D., plans are obviously in the works for a world tour.
The E.N.D. now begins the next chapter -- and the next decade -- in the career of The Black Eyed Peas.

I love Boom Boom Pow! Say what you want about B.E.P, but they sure know how to make music that makes people dance! And if most of the album is going to be dance songs, then I will have to hooray :)

I love it. I love anything they make. All that matters to me is the fact that it has a decent beat :)

Is this some kind of joke? The Black Eyed Peas have annoyed me ever since they picked up Fergie and decided to be the most atonal pop band on the planet. The end truly is near...for the relevance of American pop music.
This sounds like an unfinished demo. It's just noise and words thrown together randomly to see if they work. Noise music has its place, but even the most chaotic of noise music has something to say. All this tells me is that will.i.am knows how to use GarageBand.

hmmm .... interesting song. First impression is good, though I'll have to hear it a bit more before I fully decide.

Sorry, but stop the bickering. People have different taste in music, it's fact, just accept it. Fighting about what type of music is good or bad is just as stupid as fighting over if Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 is the better gaming console.
Warning: political incorrect joke ahead.

"I'm sooo 3008, you're so 2000 & late!"
This song has a lot of dance potential and visual options.
Classic beats, familiar instruments and they had fun playing w/ the synths and vo-coder.
-OMGWTFRU can't wait to drive down the 101 blasting some BEP!-
