Matt Alber: "End of the World"

Singer Matt Alber has released “Hide Nothing” on the heels of five years, seven albums and two Grammy Awards as a soprano in America's premier classical a capella ensemble, Chanticleer.

“Hide Nothing” is a touchingly personal, autobiographical and sentimental collection of lush, dreamy love songs reminiscent of singers like Ben Folds, Iron&Wine and Imogen Heap (the album includes a moving cover of her “Hide And Seek”), all of whom Alber counts as influences. It is an emotional tapestry of beautifully crafted songs that glisten, glow, and gently–and sometimes grandly–unfold; vocals lingering and lyrics resonating long after the songs (and goose bumps) have faded.

Pink Talks "Funhouse" Tour

Pink1 When Pink came up with the circus-themed theatrics for her "Funhouse" tour, she didn't think she'd be sharing her big-top theme with another pop singer.

She sighs with resignation when a comparison is made to Britney Spears' latest tour, "The Circus," which, like Pink's tour, features high-flying dancers and acrobats, and is a grand spectacle.

Depeche Mode Still Going Strong

Dm3 Underneath the gloom, members of Depeche Mode insist they're actually lighthearted and funny.

"I've never quite understood that description," frontman Dave Gahan said during a recent interview. "I understand that we're dark, but there's always been humor in there. It's this cynical sarcasm about yourself."

Gahan and his mates, guitarist Martin Gore and keyboardist Andy Fletcher, have spent close to 30 years mining a subtle black humor from their coupling of submission with dominance, love with hate, hope with regret.

Beyonce talks tour, movie, Etta James and Twitter

B1 Beyonce says one of the toughest parts of her summer tour has been condensing more than a decade's hits into a two-hour show.

Judging from a recent photo shoot, figuring out how to perform them in Thierry Mugler's elaborate, over-the-top costumes is just as difficult.

Susan Boyle Lives The Dream

Susanboyle Susan Boyle lives alone in a row house with her cat Pebbles, a drab existence in one of Scotland's poorest regions. She cared for her widowed mother for years, never married and sang in church and at karaoke nights at the pub.

Neighbors knew she could sing, and now with YouTube, Twitter and countless blog postings, just about everyone else does, too.

Since wowing the judges on the TV show "Britain's Got Talent," the frumpy 47-year-old, who says she's never been kissed, has gained celebrity fans and millions of admirers.

Stevie Nicks Explains Why She's A Technophobe

Nicks1 Friends who want to get in touch with Stevie Nicks know not to send an e-mail, call on a cell phone, or reach out by text message, because she won't respond.

It's not that she's being rude: Nicks doesn't own a computer or a cell phone. The 60-year-old rock legend, who is currently on tour with Fleetwood Mac, is a proud technophobe.

"I believe that computers have taken over the world. I believe that they have in many ways ruined our children. I believe that kids used to love to go out and play," Nicks says in her famously smoky voice.

Trash Talking with MYNX

Mynx Music is art, and sometimes that art makes for one hell of a sexed up, over-the-top, hi-energy glam party.

Ara and Holly, the duo behind MYNX, are exactly the eccentric, energetic, and sharp-witted characters you would expect to be behind a project like MYNX.
